First Bike Club Yesterday!

We biked for 26 minutes and went 4.5 km. We all had fun! Here is a picture.

Today Room 18 tried finishing their poems and most did in E.L.A. We had lots of math and 1 round of Daily 5.

we also had Mr.Harris as our substitute for the afternoon. Team 18 had a sound review in science.

Monday fun

Today Room 18 had a guest come in to teach us about rocks and minerals in science. We had a fun daily 5 with 3 rounds. We solved lots of problems in Sharing Circle.

It's TUESDAY!!

Today Team 18 practiced perimeter and area. We also practiced Recorders Rocks in music. We did more presentations in S.S. We also watched a Bill Nye on sound.

Friday

Today we had destination imagination, we had to make a tower that could be flipped up side down. In gym we are learning how to play volleyball,today  we learned how volley.

Monday

Today we stared to get ideas down for are poems called Somewhere Today. In ELA we are publishing a story we wrote and its duo on Friday.In math we are measuring thing in the class room.

Today team 18 learned more about the 1830's. Team 18 learned more of measuring.

Today we learned that decibels and frequency are ways measuring sound.Team 18 learned about making prediction of Lemony Snicket.  Girls and Boys had HS.

Wednesday

Today we learned about the past and the present and we noticed that their lives were very different than ours. We also cleaned our desks and worked on work we did not Finish. We also worked on our french. The grade 4 & fives watched/played hockey at lunch. It was the final game in the playoffs. The Blizzards  won.

Tuesday

Today we did a self evaluation, we also worked on telling time and fractions. Our book we are reading is awesome! Lemony Snicket.

We had lots of time to finish our projects. We had a pretty easy day.

Today was the science fair! We also learned how to curl in gym. Team 18 went down to Room 1 to be role model. Reminder bring brown folders home aka the report card envelopes.

Today we learned more about fractions and equivalent fractions. We also learned more about sound. Team 18 learned 10 vegetables in french. Reminder for parents that project fair is on thursday.
