No safe drinking water at school today.  Please send drinking water with your child.

Tomorrow make sure to bring your library books! Today team 18, worked on our children stories. We had a wedge v.s screw lab!... it was fun! This morning me worked on our doubling and halfing. Grade 5s got a sheet sent home about middle school, check it out. tomorrow were a jersey or school colours{blue and gold}

Today team 18 went on a field trip to musical theatre. Tomorrow wear your p.j's to school, to show an act of kindness called I'm dreaming of kindness day. We are sending posters to Dear Lodge Community centre to also show kindness.

We worked on our children stories. We also had daily 4. Peter Pan forms are due tomorrow.Today we worked on our multiplication.

Wednesday

Field Trip to Westwood to watch the Theatre next monday!  Please bring in permission forms. Today we were continuing to work on our multiplication strategies. Simple machines are becoming more familiar to us.  We now know what they are used for and how they make our lives better. Our Children's stories are almost ready to be published and read to the grade one's.

we worked on our children stories. team 18 did Brians winter predictions. we did daily 5 and we played the bacon game. team 18 sketched in our sketch pad today we had jungle gym grade 5 had gym time at lunch. 

It's Friday!

We are continuing to learn our multiplication facts, we should practice at home with math apps or get a family member to quiz us.  On the weekend we should work on our rough copies of our children's stories.  Remember the moral of the story is courage.  Next week some hands on lessons for simple machines!

Today we had two rounds of daily 5.

We started something new in science (simple machines).

Room 18 played the bacon game which is math.

We also watched a video on simple machines.

Today we had grade 4 intermurals. we had indoor and outdoor recess. We had to watch a french counting video from 1-100. we had math. Today we had a couple presentations. brochures due tomorrow.

We had daily 3. Today is early dismissal. We had a pre-test for multiplication and a quiz. We haven't had gym in weeks. We had a math review and french. Homework for brochures. 

Monday's Thoughts

It's Project Fair Time! Forms went home today to be signed. We started a List Poem, where we are creating our new year's resolutions. In French we reviewed day's of the week. Daily 5 and the digestive system are what we did this afternoon. We also read some of 'Brian's Winter'.
