Today Team 18 had 2 rounds of daily 5. Today we did mental math. There was a winner for S.S!!!! The winner where most people wanted to live was sub arctic eastern!!!!!!! There is a party tomorrow!! There is some stuff coming home.

Wednesday

Today Team 18 did research on Digestive stytems. Today choir orff and recorder club went to St James collegent and carolled. Mr. Blake red Brians winter to us. Team 18 had a multiplication math problem. Linwood had a sing along today! Just a reminder that Team 18 will be having a party.

Today was Maddy's birthday. Team 18 had two rounds of daily 5. today we played BACON game. Room 18 Choir, Recorder and Orff had a party. Team 18 practice to present the museum project. We did times table.

Friday Finally

Each person voted for which First Peoples' Community they thought was the best.  We added multiple stories to our published binder.  Two rounds of daily 5. Next Tuesday, there is a Orff, Recorder and Choir club party.  This morning we used cards for mental math. Five more school days until the holidays. Grade 5's had H.S. today.

Monday

Today we had an extra music class. Team 18 watched a digestive system video and came up with some great questions. This morning period 123 and 4 Gr 5 had HS. The winter concert is Wednesday December 10 at 6:30 but!!! you have to be there at 6:10 at St James Collegiate aka Gorge Waters middle school. Mr. Blake got a hair cut.

Report Cards

Are in your child's communication folder along with some other information.  The brown folder has to be returned to the school.  The folder will be used again for the next report cards. Everyone has had clear instructions not to open report card until with a parent/guardian.

Yay Long Weekend for Students!

No school on Monday or Tuesday.  We had some Reward Time today. This afternoon we almost finished our "Falling into Space Self Portraits".  This morning we had a very nice Remembrance Day service.  It was raining so it was inside lunch and recess.  The "Survival Guides" to the story Hatchet are due on Friday next week.   Have a great weekend everyone!

My best friends
When I need some one by my side I think of my two best friends Danielle and Maddy. We had known each other since grade three. We do lots of thing together like meet ups meet ups are when you meet up some ware, sleepovers, and play dates. We love to play together at recess and work in groups because we are such good friends. We love to hang out and eat lunch together. We may get in to fights but we always find away to work out we are never mad each other for long. The things I look for in Maddy and Danielle are trust, never lie, to be funny, a good partner. I could never find any one in the world to replace them!

Becca is my friend because she is caring, loving, beautiful , fun and creative . We have sleep overs together we play with her bunnies, we paint our nails ,we play on our iPod’s and tablets and we   jump on the trampoline !!!!!!!Becca is important to me because she is always been there for me when I am her she helps me and I would always be there for her .She is a great role modal for me and for the people around her!!!! Becca is always selfless for example when I only had 4 patrol bucks she gave me 1 and I got a prize that made me feel happy. We have the same interest we both like soccer, singing and acting! We do so much together we do math problems, writing, reading and playing. We also met in kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could never find a better friend even if I searched the whole world.

My cat that will all ways be in my heart!
My cat is special in my life because when I go to bed he used to sleep with me a lot. But one day when I came back from school I looked ever were and the last place I looked was in my room. Then my mom told me he past away. I cried for a wile because I was sad. His name was moley I wish I could spend more time with him. But it was to late he past away and he was only 6 years old if I was there for him I would say I love you so much. But I was not there I was at school. Stay strong and I will to. He was a boy he was my best friend because he was cute confident he loved everyone in our family stay loved moley. The end!

There are lots of people in this world to be my best friend but I would choose Skylar out of all those people. Skylar is my best friend because she is always there for me and will never put me down. She knows how to put a smile on my face! I have lots of friends but Skylar is the one I can trust the most. I like to hang out with Skylar and have sleepovers because she is such a close friend and it is easy to talk to her. Skylar is such a loyal friend to me! I would never want anyone else to be my best friend because I would never find anyone else as loyal and kind to me as she is. When I am sad or hurt Skylar is the first person that helps me and I would do the same for her. Skylar is a selfless person for example when I had four patrol bucks she gave me one so I could get a prize.  The ten years of my life would not have been as great if Skylar was not in it.  I like Skylar because we share the same interests like singing, soccer, running, and playing on the trampoline. I met Skylar in kindergarten and I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t. Skylar has been my bff since kindergarten and I don’t want that to ever change.

What friends mean to me. Friends are people who you can trust and talk to when you are sad.

Friends cheer you up and help you when you are hurt. I met my best friend when we were three and now I’m almost eleven. We’ve been friends ever since .We play in gym and at recess he’s super fun. We play video games and pet cats together. He’s nice to me and courteous to everyone.  My friend is CONNOR!
