ARE FUN MONDAY!!!!

Today team 18 had music. Grade 5s went to visit there new schools. Room 18 also had sharing circle and there were only 2 in it. We had a division review.

Wensday thoughts

Tomorrow we will be presenting our fraction floor plan so remember to practice or finish it. Today we had the grade 4 and 5 talent show. We had bike club today!!! Walk and run club and on friday grade 1-3 will be going to fort white. Next Tuesday is tabloid day!!! Fraction floor plan is homework!!

Bike Club Pics

Monday's EPIC MADNESS. Epicness level was OVER 9000 TODAY

Today we had a substitute. Today we worked on our fraction floor plan and some people are finished. Tomorrow Mr. Blake is coming back. Some people are starting their fictional stories.On the 17th it is grade 5/4 talent show!!!!! Lots of people are almost finished their low relief fur trade scenes. Lots of them are looking really good. We had 1 round of daily 2. We also had 1 round of daily 4.

Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow. Team 18 had two rounds of daily 5. We worked on our clay project. We had a famous hoop dancer come and perform in the gym for everyone!! It was really cool. Today we worked on our fraction floor plan. We also worked on our fictional stories.

Today Team 18 finished a blizzard video and how to  survive in a blizzard. Team 18 had a math test. Team 18 had one round of daily 5. We also worked on our fictional stories. and also played math games on the iPads.  we learned about all the different parts on how to make are fictional stories

Today we presented are weather instruments. Team 18 worked on our clay projects, and our fraction floor plan. Today we had gym and music!! At daily 5 we had to read a book to mister Blake for our report cards!! Remember there is no school Friday because teachers have to write report cards all day well we have a fun weekend !!!

Today Team 18 learned about Blizzards. We also learned about beginning middle and end for our  fictional stories. Team 18 learned when we can  use fractions outside of school. We will be presenting are weather instruments so make sure you bring it.

Today we had 2 rounds of daily 4. We had a sub in music today. Weather instruments are due on june 8th monday.On monday team 18 only has 14 days of school left.

FUN THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Team 18 had track and field day. We cheered each other on the track and field. When we got back some people were really tired and slept. Team 18 got 30 minutes of reward time because we were independent.

Today team 18 went on a fun field trip and we broke a world recored by wearing helmets. We learned about world disasters. Tomorrow is track and field dress appropriate.

Island Triology

This is the Island that Ben Ari Patrick Becca  and Danielle made for a project . We read 3 books all in the same series that was called Island. After we read all 3 books we wanted to do a project about the book so we decided to make a model of the island. First we picked out of the book the most interesting facts and wrote them all down for a good a good copy and after we were done that we started to make the model. We did this during daily 5. Island is about 6 kids that got stranded after there boat sunk. They found this island and stayed there until they found a way off of the island. The popsicle sticks mark were all of the events happened. I think that one problem we had was that every one had different ideas so it made it hard to decide what to do. I think that we had a better vision of the island once we made it. And that was the island project.

today we learned how lightning can affect people. We learned more about each other about fossil fuels and  global warming. Bring in all your forms. Felid trip on wensday. track and felid meat on thursday.
